A tribute to the hard work my family has put in to their business with wool, now 50 years old, and for finding a way of making this world a little less cold. As Marie Antionet used to say, “There is nothing new except what has been forgotten” and as the label proclaims " We've been using them all our life, since 1946 we've touched, we smelt, and we've caressed Merino's wool which comes from the finest sheep. From one generation to the next we've seen how synthetic fibers conquested Sabadell and the World, but even so they were not able to keep ones feet warm. LONG LIVE WOOL!"
Each pack has a strip of top quality Merino wool, washed and combed, the first stage of the whole process which my family develope since 1946. Each strip comes hand made and is created to last all winter.
Thankfully winter's in Spain are short lived.

Due to a flood of inquiries I would like to make the following statement: the Plantillas Monés, besides keeping your feet warm and being perfect for Convers and world class skiers, also have the following features: they are recyclable (wool is a great natural preserver of plant life) the ecological impact or the ecological price of the product is zero (the filters used for the chemicals in the washing of wool or in the packaging of cellulos are proof of this).
They also are a fair business ( the providers are paid what they deserve), they are P.E.T.A. friendly, ( no sheep has been harmed in the process and we garantee that they have been fed in the best pastures),and they stand for equal rights (they do not discriminate because of one's sex, race, creed or religion).
